I am originally from Checotah, Oklahoma. Upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2007, I moved to North Carolina, where I met my husband, Dennis. We moved to Oregon in 2012, but didn’t discover CrossFit Immense until April 2013. After finishing our first workout at CFI, I instantly realized that I found my passion. I’ve always wanted to be a personal trainer, but my goals evolved after completing my first WOD. My vision was refocused: “Not only do I want to be a personal trainer, I want to coach CrossFit.” I became a CF-L1 trainer in December of 2013, obtained my CF-L2 trainer certification in June of 2015, and became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in November of 2016. I have been given the incredible opportunity of coaching and doing one-on-one personal training at Immense ever since. My mission was to become more fit through CrossFit. In doing so, I’ve established such amazing friendships that I would consider many of these CFI athletes my family, or as Greg Glassman put it, “my tribe”. Crossfit and CFI have changed my life, a true blessing, and I am forever grateful.
